This is a 4 hour tour, where you experience the Master Beekeeper Experience followed by a tour of the Sliabh Aughty Mountains

Exclusive behind the scenes guided tour personal tour where maximum 2 people get an intimate experience with fourth generation beekeeper, Noel Leahy. Over a cup of tea, gain insights into the integral role of bees in ancient Ireland, the role of bees in the eco-system and the life of bees. Put on a bee suit to visit the hives with the beekeeper. Learn how the hive works and work closely with the beekeeper including handling and observing the frames of honey with lots of bees. Afterwards, taste diverse honeys and some local foods. Continue with a guided tour of the mountain to see the famine villages and learn of the history of the Sliabh Aughty mountain, followed by a honey beer and honey chocolate tasting.
